school forms confusion. help?

soooo...about the commonapp school forms section.
Do you have to submit all of these online, or does your school automatically send them when you put in a transcript request? Because all of my applications (even the place where I already got in!) still have the nasty little yellow boxes and unhappy little red triangles.

Does anyone know how this works?

you don’t have to send them online. i printed mine off and gave them to my teachers and counselor to send through the main. there is no way to record online if you manually sent the papers, so you’ll keep having the yellow boxes and triangles

Your school probably wouldn’t send the recs and SSR form automatically (unless maybe your school is an East-coast admissions mill – I’ve heard they exist :D).

You’d need to request those, and supply printed copies of the forms as lysnoir did. Ditto the Midyear Report, if required by any of your colleges.

Everything lysnoir said about online and yellow boxes and triangles is accurate. Ignore them if you know your colleges have received all your paper-based forms.

You talk to your counselor and ask them if they would be willing to fill out the counselor forms for you. If they say yes, then you discuss with them whether to do the forms online or by paper.
