School Forms Page on Common App?

When you are logged into the Common App website on your personal account, when you go to the "school forms" tab, and it says that you must sign a waiver. I'm ok with signing it, but at the bottom it says, "By signing and submitting this form, I certify that I understand the above agreements (refering to the waiver). I understand that this information can not be changed once I click the submit button below."

I just want to be sure...this doesn't mean that you can not edit your application anymore after submitting the waiver, right? It just means that you may not "unsign" the form.

Also, do people really check the "no, I do not waive my rights" option? At least one of my recommenders want me to waive my rights, so I assume that it must be done both on the form itself and on the website.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

It just means you cannot change your decision as to whether or not to waive your rights.

General practice is to waive your right to see the recommendations at a later date, under the assumption that a private recommendation will be an honest recommendation. Thus, colleges generally want you to do this.
