I already told my teachers about recommendations, but they all want to do it by mail. How can I get the school forms without inviting them online or do I have to invite them in order to see the school forms?

You can download and print all the forms there.

I have the same question. So, is it OK if I print the recommendation forms and give them to my teachers or must I invite them so that they can print it if they want? I mean, can my application be completed even if I don't invite any teachers?

If you want them to do it on paper, print out the forms and give them to the teachers.

You can add them to your application by inviting a teacher without entering their email address. You must "invite" the teacher before you submit the application. Without the invites added, it will not let you submit.

"Note: Please do not mix-and-match your application, supplement, and payment between online and paper submission. Either submit the application, supplement and payment (or fee waiver) online, or submit them all by mail." (From CommonApp website)

Does this mean if my teachers wanted to mail in the letters, I can't complete the rest of my application online...?

^no it does not

The recs are different from the application, supplement or payment.
