I was wondering if you can have your counselor recommendation/school report mailed and have your teachers do theirs online, or does it all have be either mailed or all of it online?

nope you can have either or.

so does this mean u CAN have your counselor/SSR mailed AND have the teachers do it online?

Yes you can. I had my counselor do it offline and my teacher do a rec online.

From the Common App Website.

All online or all offline?

The teacher and counselor recommendation process is to be completed either all online or all offline. The college admissions offices do not want to receive the forms online and then receive paper evaluations and transcripts on paper. If there is a part of the online process that the counselor or teacher is unable to complete, the only choice is to opt out and do the form on paper.

So it's either one or the other - NOT BOTH.

That means that they don't want the counselor to fill out the form online, but then send in a written letter of recommendation and transcript on paper. I'm pretty sure it is fine if you send a teacher rec all online as well as a counselor form offline. But they can't do like half of the form online, then send a letter in the mail.

Okay, thanks guys for clearing it up.
