I don't give. As long as I earn my straight A's, 2200+ on SAT, I really don't care.

I hated high school, which is why I'm trying to make the most of of my college years.

I like high school, too. :) But I hated middle school; getting good grades was really the only thing I enjoyed. I mean, yeah, I had fun with my friends, but I hated the environment of my middle school -- spoiled, cliquey rich kids who actually played into that archetypal snobbery that you see on TV.

Then, I got to high school. Academics became more important, and like you, I'm competitive and enjoy doing well. x] School is kinda like... I don't want to say a "contest," because I don't care so much how I do in comparison to others. It's more like a game -- a video game? -- in which I strive for high scores. xP (Not enough to study for tests, but enough to do all my work and in general my best work possible.) Also, the classes in high school are a lot more interesting. My freshman year, I literally enjoyed every class. My sophomore and junior years, I wasn't so lucky; I had some crappy/boring classes. But overall, high school is a much more stimulating environment in terms of not only academic achievement but interesting subject matter.

Yeah, I'm beginning to miss school. It really didn't feel like the end of the school year.

Well, I like school better now that it's over :) (for now). But I'm already kind of looking forward to next year (or I probably wouldn't be on this site right now). Although I really didn't like school last year, it was still my best year so far. But I think as long as I'm awake at school to actually act like my normal self (I was always half asleep last year and not much fun I don't think) then I think it will be fun. So yeah I like it. But I do also view it as a competition, and not just with academics. Hanging out with friends in class and at lunch is fun too. It's just the work that sucks. But I really do think that whether you enjoy school or not depends on the people you're with and who you have classes with - that makes all the difference.

I don't like waking up at 5:30am. :[

I hate school so much, and yet, everybody is surprised when I say so. I find that a lot of people expect intellegent students to enjoy school more than the rest.

ohh, really, you must be intelligent...

Of course it makes sense. Why would you not expect the smart people who get good grades and etc and care a lot about those stuff; and be involved in many activities, blah blah, to not be interested in school?

I like the idea of meeting new people, and 'foraging alliances' and 'creating new rivals and enemies'.
But I hate getting up early, studying, staying up late, projects, and homework.
Life would be pretty boring without school.
I do look at school as competition, which i like, but many kids see it as a drag which makes 'the game' a lot less fun to play...

I like my social life at school, that's about it. Then again, I could probably make much better friends. I practically sleep through all my classes and I get more of a challenge from Florida Virtual School.

Thank God I'm going to Dual Enroll more.

I hate my high school. Surrounded by cows and farms, filled with idiot hicks, very conservative, dull, and doing academic work is boring as ****. Can't wait to get out of here and go to columbia.

lol my school is awesome. i get to raise almost any marine animal i want as a pet, i can do whatever i want every day and leave campus whenever i want basically (with a good reason).

I don't mind going to school, though I was getting tired of it by the end of the school year. But come September, I won't really be too upset to go back to school.

School sucks for me; I only like that I get to see my friends there.

I love school.
I love learning. Plus I always have to be doing some sort of productive work.

Plus I'm a competitive freak =)

I hate school. Well not school per se, but my school.
So no, school normally isn't fun for me at all. Just boring.
