So does your have any ghost story like things. At my school we do.

At one of the resident halls at my school there is a drawing of a girl, who passed away while attending my school. The drawing is in pencil but for some reason it can't be erased. It also can't be painted over. When they paint it the drawing reapeares ont he new paint. I wouldn't beleive it, unless I saw it for my self. But it is true. So your school have any tales.

One of the houses at my school is supposedly haunted, but I've never been in there, so no idea about that.
Apparently there's also a "whispering woman" that calls people, their roomies, their friends, etc. and asks things like "How are your classes going?" There's more to that, but I forgot what >_<

At my SCHOOL (not college) we have a ghost in the theatre that messes with the lights, sound, etc. during shows sometimes (she gets riled by all the people in the audience.) Sometimes she shows up in cast pictures, and sometimes the SMs in the attic can hear a baby crying over the headset (sometimes even a woman singing a lullaby to the baby...) The legend is that, when the theatre was being built, some kids stole a skeleton from the science department and were GOING to do something funny and prank-ish with it, but there were about to get into big trouble, so they ditched the plan. They couldn't return the skeleton without getting caught, so they broke up all the bones and threw them over the walls of the theatre into the space between the concrete. But the kids got caught anyway a few weeks after--after the concrete had already been poured to finish the walls and the theatre ceiling had been raised--and the tale got out. It's pretty widely believed (SOMEBODY did some research, backtracking through the company that sold the school the skeleton, etc.) that the skeleton was that of a poor mother from India who died in childbirth, and her parents sold her body for money. The skeleton ended up in our science department, and eventually in our theatre walls, and the ghost (friendly!) of the woman sings to her baby, messes with our lights, and just generally likes to joke around. Well, that is, if you believe in ghosts (or my really poorly told tale).

Legend has it at Kent State in Englemann Hall:

Built in the 1930s as an all-girls dorm, this building is haunted by the ghost of a girl who was raped and murdered by a jealous admirer in the forties or fifties. She walks the halls at night and sometimes is seen over a shoulder in a mirror.

We don't have any real ghost stories, but two years before I attended my high school, a girl hung herself in the bathroom and it gives me wierd vibes when I go in there. We've only got two bathrooms so I guess closing it(which is what I thought they would have done) isn't an option. Kind of freaky.....

At Dartmouth there is a story of a 19th-century doctor who went insane and started chopping people up in the forest that Dartmouth owns. Every year numerous DOC trips pass through this very same forest and there are rumors that the good doctor is still alive...
