<p>I’m not sure if this is applicable to your specific situation, but Lewis & Clark College (which happens to be excellent for international relations) has an alternative way for people to apply called the Portfolio Path to admission.
While I think it is intended for students who have better grades than their standardized score might suggest, I think it could be helpful for you, even though the situation is just the opposite. The link is here:</p>

<p>In a nutshell, they consider 4 graded assignments from your junior and senior year and 3 teacher recommendations in addition to you standard application. I think that if you can show your intelligence (which is apparent in your ECs) through your portfolio, and perhaps include a letter from a doctor explaining your condition, that you would be very competitive for admission as well as their merit scholarships.</p>
