Athlete for Colorado College should be a yes. If I decide to go there I could most likely play for their tennis team

Nobody ???

I will start since you started mine (thanks by the way). Your GPA is on par with the standards of most of these schools (assuming you have been taking challenging classes i.e APs/honors). As for your test scores, I would recommend trying to raise them up a little bit, considering the averages for some of the schools you would like to attend. Your ECs are not outstanding but they cover all the bases in terms of things that colleges would like to see. There is a little to be desired on the originality front, but I would put you in good standings in the realm outside academia.
Raise those scores!
Hope I helped.

Thanks man!

Anyone else?:(

Ill also help cause you asked me for clarification on mine (which i did!)

GPA is on par as long as they are AP classes

try to raise you scores above 2000 because 2000 is kinda the magic number :)

Assuming you raise your test scores to a 2000 (or 30ish ACT I think) then I think you have very good chances for the bottom 9 on your list. Rice and Tulane are Reach schools, but you have a shot. I think UNC Chapel Hill is a little bit doubtful simply because it’s out of state. Sorry to end on a negative note, but I think if you do raise the scores and write some good essays, you’ll be looking quite good when application time comes round.
Good luck!

Wow okay thanks man. Have you ever visited any of those campuses? Do you have anything to say about them? I’ve been to UT and trinity…

Sorry I assumed you are a guy^^ lol

Your GPA is strong and you’re in the top 4% of your class. Your SAT is equivalent to ~28 ACT. Boosting your SAT and ACT to the 2000/30 level would eliminate a lot of potential objections. As you stand now, FWIW, here is my assessment

Rice - Reach, very competitive
Tulane - Match
UNC - Reach, extremely competitive for OOS applicants
UT - Match - I believe with the 8% rule you’re practically an auto-admit
Colorado College - Match/Safety
Wake Forest - Match/Reach ACT/SAT hurt
Baylor - No info
TCU - No info
UVA -Reach, similar issue to UNC
Trinity - No info
SMU - Safety/Match
Houston - Safety/Match

Yeah I’m taking a Kaplan course before my last SAT in October and then I’m taking math II and us history subject tests in November… I’ve already taken a Kaplan course once and raised my score from 1730 to 1890 but on my 1890 I screwed up on the critical reading because I completely misinterpreted one of the comparison style reading passage sections… So I got all of those questions wrong hence the 570:/

bardledoo.

Bedumpitty

Same here – having an SAT under 2000 and ACT under 30 will make it very difficult to get into Rice; fairly difficult to get into UNC and UVA (out of state) and Colorado College (Top 30 LAC, median ACT = 31).

So, right now:

Rice is a reach.

UNC, UVA and CC are probably high match/low reach.

Wake Forest is a high match.

UT and Tulane are matches.

The rest are probably low matches/safeties.

Get to 2000/30 and Rice becomes a low reach, UVA/UNC/CC/Wake become matches, etc.

Alright cool. I will

…
