The application and transcript for this school and all others applied to were sent in time for early decision but one school lost the high school transcript. Now the application for this one school is in the regular decision pile. Since the school made the mistake, is it worthwhile to pursue the matter and try to have it moved to the early decision pile, or will we be considered a nuisance and not be admitted?

If I were you I’d call and talk to the school, especially if you’re worried about getting accepted.

The high school GC can help manage this by faxing a second copy, and getting on the phone to vouch for the original date the transcript was sent.

Thank you!!

Thanks for the advice! The GC sent a short email and now the transcript has been located and she’s back in the “early” pile. Phew!

Thanks for the update-that is good news!
