<p>i applied to the school of agriculture first week november</p>

<p>3.18 fresh year
3.65 soph year
3.85 junior year
1630/2400 sats</p>

<p>out of state</p>

<p>when do you think i'll hear from them? i heard they review certain schools first...and go from highest gpa to lower gpas. any ideas?</p>

<p>nillions, that's the question everyone is trying to figure out. Reading this board last year and this year, I cannot make heads or tails out of how and why they do things and when you will hear. It appears to be a crap shoot! My best guess for you, and for my S too, is that since both of you have applied before November 30th, you'll hear by January 31st. Yup, that's what their web site says, so that's the best I can do. Now, there are smarter people than me here, so maybe they could tell you. But I ..er, uh, I mean, my S is anxiously awaiting to hear too! ;-)</p>

<p>We shuold all just be accepted cause we have the right grades! I dont think anybody knows how PSU does the admissions.</p>

<p>krm, i dont know if oyur applying school of agriculture, but my mom called admissions, and they said they review most of the agriculture apps in January</p>

<p>Yeah most of the decisions that go out before than are undecided, I was told by an adcom from PSU that it didn't matter if you applied August 5th or November 5th, they dont review in any order, and started only in mid-november.</p>

<p>so I called. and someone said this before btu they do the highest and lowest GPAs first. The lady told me that I am borderline. She said most of the borderline students will hear back in January. But don't worry guys! No news is not bad news, at least they did not reject anyone of us yet!</p>

<p>See lbabyxo? I think you are on the right on track. It is going to take awhile and Jan. 31 is the date. I just wish it was before Christmas, because I could buy some neat gifts for my S. Oh well . . .</p>
