School of Architecture Portfolio and Admissions

I was accepted to Tulane University recently, with the intent of studying architecture to receive the five year undergraduate Master of Architecture degree. I received an email yeterday from the School of Architecture admissions office that said to pursue the five year M.Arch program, I would have to submit a portfolio of artwork by March 15. So I am accepted to the University, but the School of Architecture has not given me a decision yet. This was a bit of a surprise to me because I did not know a portfolio was required (it's VERY low key on the website). I'll be putting one together, but my question is how selective is the School of Architecture in their admissions process? I cannot find any statistics or anything anywhere. Many thanks!

I’m not sure if this is the first year that a portfolio is required for admisions to the 5 year M.Arch program. If this is the case, you may not get a response
