Since Berkeley is the only UC with an undergrad architecture major, is that particular really impacted like engineering?

anybody know?

I believe you may only major in architecture as an undergraduate student in the College of Architecture and Design. You either have to apply as a freshman or switch into the college when you declare the major. It doesn't look like it's an impacted major...but I could be wrong. Check it our for yourself:

Also, the Architecture program is not accredited, unlike the program at Cal Poly (SLO). This is on purpose because CED (College of Environmental Design, not Architecture and Design) is meant to be a liberal arts program. What that means is that you will graduate from Cal with Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in architecture (non professional degree), not a Bachelor of Architecture (professional degree).

However, you can pursue your Masters of Architecture (professional degree), which you can thereafter practice (after taking your licensure exams, etc.)

Sorry about that; it was a typo. The college is called the College of Environmental Design.
