<p>I am determined to become accepted into GWU's School of Business. I am only a junior in high school right now though, but I have been doing a lot of research. I just have a question about the curriculum posted on their website. I don't see any required history classes? I am currently taking an AP US History class and if it is not required in SOB, should i still take the AP exam at the end of this year? I hate history with a passion and would want nothing to do with it anymore. I'm more of a math person. Oh yeah, I want to major in accounting also. Sorry, I am just really confused.</p>

<p>AP US history counts for two courses (six credits). However, from my reading of the requirements ([GW</a> Bulletin 2009-2010](<a href=“School of Business | The George Washington University”>School of Business | The George Washington University)), history is -not- a requirement for business majors. With that said, the six credits will still count towards graduation. If you think you can score a 4 on the exam, I’d say it’s worth it. Good luck! Make sure to interview when you apply.</p>
