How is Penn State, Auburn, UGA, Ithaca, Emerson? I'm applying to Washington & Lee bc its instate and I know I can get a lot of aid, so it's a safety.</p>
<p>Penn State is strong in communications, but I'm not sure about journalism. Undergraduate journalism is fairly rare (and good undergraduate journalism is even rarer, although you definitely need not be a journalism major to become a journalist).</p>
<p>Is your family's EFC so high that you probably wouldn't get much need-based aid?</p>
