School of Journalism

Hey everyone, I applied to Stony Brook's School of Journalism but am not to familiar with it... if anyone knows anything about it please don't hesitate to comment! Thank You

I know two things:

 1. It’s fairly new. It was created while I was still at Stony Brook (graduated May 2010).
 2. The ‘newsroom of the future’ in Melville Library is pretty cool.

I know that it’s pretty new as well and hear its suppose to be a pretty good program (there aren’t many options within the SUNY system for Journalism and Stony Brook happens to be the only SUNY with its own designated school of) but since its new I presume that the facilities must be pretty modern/high tech with all the latest bells and whistles. I went on a tour there and they didn’t speak much about their Journalism program or give us a look into their newsrooms so I’m going solely off the website but I appreciate the info.

Hey everyone, I wish to apply for a graduate program in Journalism (Broadcast Journalism to be specific) for Fall’12. Can anyone kindly suggest me some good colleges in US, where i can intend on applying.
I’m very eager to apply for CUNY graduate school of Journalism and Walter Cronkite school (ASU). Your feedbacks are very needful.
