School of Music: OU vs UT?

<p>So I have a friend at OU Currently studying in their music school as a vocal performance major. She really wants to come to UT (she's from austin) but has found out that OU's music program is pretty good. She wanted me to do some research on UT's music program to see how it compared and if it was worth it to transfer down here to continue studying. Does anyone know anything about the music schools at either Oklahoma University or the University of Texas? Anything about the facilities or current faculty? </p>

<p>Anything would be helpful, as I'm trying to help her out but have no idea where to start. Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>My friend attended a music camp at UT this summer and told me they were building a full, in-house recording studio. The school is generally a better school but I do not know much else about their reputations as music schools. UNT has a better reputation than UT for vocal performance majors, so check it out.</p>
