Have any voice performance majors heard yet?

My son is still waiting... at this point, he's ready to accept another school, but just wants closure. Any other voice performance majors waiting?

D still waiting, thought maybe a letter (one way or the other) would come yesterday or today, but no!

He heard and he's in... but not a word about financial aid.
He's going to Mason Gross.

still nothing in our mail today!

Where is Mason Gross?

Mason Gross is Rutgers' conservatory. What a difference in the way they've treated my son! Every day or two, he's contacted by the school, or a member of the faculty, inviting him to visit campus, attend classes, hear performances.
He got one very nice email from a professor at Ithaca right after he auditioned, and after that, getting any information from them has been like pulling teeth.

That's nice! Makes a kid feel wanted. My D. has 2 state schools, one NY, one PA that have been contacting her like that. Those are the 2 that are tied for first place on her list!

D. finally accepted, but most likely not going there either!

Musmom: FINALLY!!!! Congrats to your D!!! Did you get the FA package?

dismal, as predicted. "Flora Brown" scholarship for a whopping 5K. Good thing it's not her first choice! How are you guys doing in the decision making process?

When my D was accepted, she was notified of the Flora Brown with the acceptance. The rest of the dismal FA package came later. Did you get the whole FA package?
