I am going to apply to the school of nursing, but I was wondering if I could switch schools

To elaborate, I heard at penn you do not have to select a specific major until junior year, so I was wondering if I could do a year at the school of nursing then switch to the college of arts and sciences. Is this a possible endeavor?

I’m sure this is possible! They know that many freshmen switch majors and the flexibility with taking classes between the 4 schools is definitely there.
However, I do caution that if you’re looking to apply to nursing as an “easier way to get in” I would suggest not. For nursing especially, they look for character and a desire for the field. If ur application doesn’t reflect that, they’ll be able to see and will then question whether you actually care for nursing or not. The admission percentage may seem higher, but the committe is just as selective as the others!

But anyways, good luck!
