Hello. I am senior at a high school who applied to the SAIC (with Early Action) on November 14, 2017. After waiting for a while, I realized many people were already accepted into the SAIC. However, I did not hear a single word from them yet. Is anyone else having this circumstance? I submitted my common app, transcript (3.6) , ACT score (27), and slideroom portfolio but still not word. My mom thinks my application may be delayed because of the financial aid I requested, however, I thought it’s because I want to major in architecture and I have not seen many people apply to the SAIC with architecture. Are these possible reasons for the delay of my admissions result? Are there other architecture majors at the SAIC that got accepted? I would like to know when my SAIC results will come out so that I don’t need to apply to any more colleges. Thanks if you reply.

I got in SVA right after Christmas for Interior Design. It might depend on your choice of major.
Hey- My Daughter applied to SAIC- just Jan 14 to meet merit deadline. We have not heard a thing.
ALso- My understanding is it’s a lot about the portfolio. That ACT score and GPA are high for this school.
I was accepted EA with a $27k/year scholarship.
My son applied early decision but they wanted more info. He just got his acceptance letter today. (We’re in MI- if you want to gauge postal times)
