School of Theatre Open House!!!

Heyyy....I just got the mail, and although I did not receive my acceptance letter, I received an invitation to the School of Theatre's Open House from the Dean of Theatre.

Has anyone else received this invite? Does it mean we're in the B.A. or B.F.A?

I got two status updates (3/25) and (3/28 with oasis link), and I was able to get on to explore usc and rsvp for the actual USC open house on the 26th.

Anybody have any thoughts???

^^^you might be a spring admit.

They wouldn’t do that for theatre…you have to start with the rest of the class I think.

If it’s like any other program they have a seperate class that starts in spring and then graduates in spring. Then they have the same thing for fall admits.

But I got a special thing that the dean is inviting me too next week for their like special open house or something…?

You have probably been accepted. Congratulations!

Check out this thread and you’ll see others talking about the same thing:

Yea, well my friend who was admitted for spring is going to that too. That is the generic ball for new students. We can find out right now, when you login to explore how many events show up?

If you got the invitation my daughter got then there is a specific disclaimer that the invitation does not constitute acceptance into the college. Sorry.

Yes, but why would they send oyu that initation if you weren’t admitted to the school? Doesn’t that seem kind of stupid?
