Just me or does anyone else get tired of seeing those license plates on cars that say Alumni University of... then they got the sweater, and their parents got the University of.... Mom When is school pride too much? Don't get me wrong I am going to attend UCLA basketball and football games but damn some of these people are walking billboards for their universities. What schools will you guys attend and what things have you bought to show your school pride? Just interested in seeing how far people go.

Ok, everyone has started a petition banning Mexbruin's "thread starting" rights......who's with me? lol Just kidding.....

I have the UCLA license plate cover and about 30% of my church's cars say UCLA alumni, but that's pretty much as far as it goes.......I mean I have a couple of sweatshirts and some T-shirts, a key chain, penant and a binder, but that's about it.....lol.

I do however, hope to get some more stuff, but it has nothing to do with school pride just yet, hey I'm a newbie, that's how it goes in the beginning.

Woot Wooo UCLA!!!!! Go Bruins!!!!

i get really scared when i see a bumper sticker for Harvard or MIT on a beat up old ford (or similar crappy car)...

Not everyone attends Harvard or MIT for monetary purposes.

thats what my brother told me!!! but you would think they could atleast get a decent looking car...i figure theyre the academic types that really dont give a damn about the car...either that or theyre still paying off loans

u kidding? after 2 years of community college, school spirit sounds great to me! ive already bought t-shirts for myself and parents, a hat, window decals, a magnet, and a shot glass! go bulldogs!!!

going to those school doesn't necessarily equate to a better wealth afterward. most of their alumnis are rich, but they are rich in first place.

lol, northrams. I have a Penn sticker AND a Yale sticker on the back of my car, already...that is only because I am torn between which school to attend.

School pride does seem to get a little overboard sometimes, but you have to remember.. especially for some of us who have been working so hard to get into some of these schools, it just feels good to put up a little support.

point taken, High Hopes. BTW down with Arizona UCLA is king of PAc-10

haha...you keep believing that and maybe one day it might just happen...

Hahahaha:)

masta the proof is in the pudding we have amassed over 90 NCAA championships I doubt the wildcats even come close. Yes, they had a run in the 90's but UCLA is the archetype of success in collegiate sports

hmmm..statistics...well I really dont care about all the tennis and softball championships UCLA has...but if we limit it too BBall im pretty sure UCLA wasn't even in the tourney last year and probably wont be next year kinda sad really...what was once a great college basket ball program cant even compare to the lowly cats ;)

Well now I feel bad for buying UCLA stuff... As of right now I do have the License plate frame, a sweatshirt, and a few T-Shirts.

Masta, apparently you missed the fact that UCLA did make the NCAA tournament. And if you think it's not going next year, you're nuts.
