I went from a pretty hardcore school to a school that needs major reforming. This school has lots of fights and needs some major funding. It is a title one school, whatever that means…I am wondering will my chances for college decrease because I went from a pretty competitive high school to a school where hardly anyone but 50 people care about school?
And reason i moved is because of some family issues.
<p>i think your chances will increase if you succeed in that school. If you can avoid distractions in your new school, you will be fine hopefully.</p>
<p>Take advantage of it and be valedictorian, get a perfect GPA, take the hardest courseload available, be president of every club and captain of every sport.</p>
<p>It might actually be a positive experience for you.</p>
<p>If academic challenge is limited in your new school, make sure you find and take advantage of intellectual opportunities OUTSIDE of your school...community college, etc.</p>
