<p>You should forget about your school’s profile - that’s not your job. Don’t go into your guidance office telling them how to do their jobs. Nothing about what should or should not be on the school profile. Nothing.</p>
<p>Now, if you want to talk to your GC, approach it this way: “When I was in the lower grades, we didn’t have these advanced courses as listed on the profile. Do you think it’s important to explain that in your letter about me?” Keep the conversation focused on the letter the GC will write about you.</p>
<p>And of course, you can mention these facts in the “Additional Info” sections of your application.</p>
