Would not taking science course during one year of high school look bad if I plan on going into the field of law or psychology? I already have credit for Honors Physical Science, Biology (tested out over the summer), AP Biology, and Chemistry (tested out over the summer). There is no Honors Chemistry or AP Chemistry. The only other science courses offered at my school are Forensics and AP Physics (B). Colleges wouldn't know that Forensics was available, so that means that next year I could take AP European History in place of a science course as long as that wouldn't look bad to colleges. So, to restate my question: Would not taking a science during my junior or senior or year look bad as long as I've taken all of my high school's math courses (just one year, not both years)?

Another possibility for freeing up a slot in my schedule for a course that I'm interested in taking would be to not have a math class during my senior year. Would not having math as a senior look bad? My school only offers up to AP Calculus AB and I could easily learn Honors Pre-Calculus (which I'm currently scheduled to take next year as a junior) over the summer and jump right into AP Calculus AB. I took AP Statistics this year, otherwise I could still have a math class senior year... But anyway. Would not having a math class look bad during my senior year as long as I've taken all of my high school's math courses?

Would quitting Jazz Ensemble for a year (either junior year or senior year) look bad if I'm an involved member in the school band program and have done it since freshman year?

Of the three options above, which would be the best option? Second best option? Worst option?
