School really messed up my financial aid

And every form has to be for the correct year - if a form was done for the wrong year, it can’t be used for a different year.

I understand that it is difficult for you to get through to the school, but you need to do whatever you can to talk with someone who can answer your questions. Politely insist on talking with someone who will look through your file - not just at a computer screen that lists what you still need to turn in. You need someone who can walk you through what is missing and what you need to turn in. If you have to ask to talk to a manager, do that. Be polite, but firm.

Thumper1: I did also do the 2017-2018 but I did the 2018-2019 one right as I decided nvm on the spring term. If that makes any sense and the “extra documents” I sent were for the 2018-2019 fafsa one, I know that for sure. The school asked for the dependent verification form and tax transcript, both of which I know were for the correct fafsa as I double checked. It was actually my moms tax transcript they needed(because I count as her dependent) so she can vouch for me sending the correct forms.

Kelsmom: Every form I sent was for the right year, I double checked everytime I sent them to them. I know what’s missing exactly, those two forms specifically. And right now I am unable to physically get to the school, that’s why I’m forced to do all this online and the phone. Thanks for the polite suggestions though

You can’t physically get there because you are incapacitated? Or what?

How far away is this community college? Did you move?

I do not live super far away but decently far and the roads out where I live at this time of year are extremely dangerous to drive on. I do have my driver’s license but 1. My car is unable to be driving right now and 2. I’ve never driven in winter so I feel extremely unsafe to risk my life and others driving there. Normally I would get a ride there but I will have no available rides until February and at that point it would be too late as school started today.

And no I didn’t move, I don’t really see why you asked? But I haven’t moved
