I live in new jersey, and im entering my senior year and im getting ready to apply in a month or two and i have some schools in mind, but really want the college confidential community to help me out and recommend some schools. Sorry if im asking for a lot but any help would be awesome!!!!! Thanks

I forgot to add im looking for colleges between 6,500 students all the way up to the biggest school, i want to go to a big college with popular sports.

How about something like Texas Tech, Kansas State, or Oregon State. Look at other “third tier” national universities in the US News rankings as well.

Being from NJ, they might like the geograhic diversity you offer.

At least they have big time college football.

I would take the SAT one more time, study hard, and try to raise your scores.

The poor GPA is already in the books, and can’t be changed. But your SAT can be raised, if you study hard.

Also, despite your poor GPA, there may be some courses where you did fairly well.

I would try to stress those in my applications.

I would apply outside the northeast (where I think the competition is tougher).
