School Report Part II?

I just found out I didn't submit this, and this form could only be obtained from the Harvard website. My school's currently closed and will only open on january 4. And this form is due on the 1st.

It's on this website, scroll down to "School Report", it says in brackets after it that (this includes School Report Part II not found on the Common Application)

Harvard College Admissions § Applying: Application Forms

HELP!!

I think you should send this in as soon as you can and they may tolerate a few days’ delay

I agree. I dont know why they never put that on the common app lol

My god! I didn’t know about the School Report II as well!

Wait a minute…this didn’t register with me at first, because I completed my Harvard application and sent it in back in October. I have checked my application status on the Harvard website several times, and it says under “Requirements” that “All required application materials have been received, thank you.”

I never printed out that Part II, because I didn’t realize it existed. So how is my app. status complete?

I never bothered with it, and I got in. Doesn’t matter too much…

I’m not going to recommend to not do it but, as far as we know, one was not submitted for me daughter (current freshman). The only way one went in is if the counselor knew to do one on his own. D did not provide the form to the GC. We only learned about it this fall. I would say late is better than not at all but Harvard seems to be forgiving.

Harvard should definitely mention it on the CommonApp website, with the student supplement or something! My friend’s applying to Harvard, and since his school is closed for the winter vacation, he can’t get this form done either and is worried. Can it be faxed to Harvard?

On another note, I don’t think that this form is too important. The information on it is more or less covered by the secondary school report, counsellor evaluation and teacher evaluations. It has a little bit more for internationals, e.g. ranking the student’s aptitude among students in the home nation and abroad. I don’t think that this form will make or break an application.
