School-specific essay?

How long is this essay supposed to be? Mine is way too short (less than 500 words) and I can't find a way to make it any longer. I understand that the SFS ones will be pretty long by nature, but I'm majoring in science, and there isn't much else to write about why I want to study science at Georgetown.

Try to focus the essay on yourself rather than Georgetown. They already know they’re a great school. Explain why you are a great fit.

Hmm so do you think they view second long essay less critically than the first one?

I think the personal essay is probably more important, because they really let you choose pretty much anything to write about and reveal your character. The school specific essay is probably more to just get an idea about what your plans are and why you like Georgetown. My personal essay was a first personal narrative, while my school specific essay is just a commentary on my goals how Georgetown fits in.

Mines 566 words and also about medicine. I wrote of how my interest in biology led me to discover medicine and how i want to become a doctor to help solve the problem of alcoholism and drug abuse in my hometown. I like my personal/creative essay more though.
