I heard Penn has a lot of it. Could someone provide me with details?

Lots of toast throwing, or so I've heard

People who go to Penn love Penn. You will constantly see students wearing Penn apparel on campus and pretty much anywhere. Maybe it's because we like to correct people when they say "oh Penn State." Maybe not. I own what some people might consider "too much" Penn paraphernalia...

The best example of Penn pride is during Penn-Princeton basketball games. But the toast throwing (and the toast zamboni) are great too :)

I agree - I think that penn has a lot of school spirit - which is great. People are genuinely happy to be there and that manifests itself into school spirit - whether it's talking in high regard of Penn or wearing a hoody. While I was there - I felt that everyone really wanted to be there and that really leaves a mark - it did on me. :o)

conversely, what i love about penn is that even though we love penn as an entity, the city environment also makes us regular city dwellers. people are not averse to going independently to clubs in the city and stuff. basically, its not like all the activity at penn relies on campus.

here, people are Philladelphians as well as Quakers.

i love threads like this. It reassures me; it tells me why I choose Upenn.
