<p>I'm using USNews' pay service right now, and I find it somewhat limiting. You can't sort schools according to criteria for example. And you can only compare 6 schools at a time.</p>

<p>Are you talking about the college compare section? You can't do it there either. But even if you could, it's only a list of 6 schools so it wouldn't help much.</p>
<p>I am talking about the table "National Universities: Top Colleges" and "Liberal Arts Colleges: Top Colleges".

<p>What do you want to know about the Engineering Colleges? How do you want to sort? You can look at that short list and sort manually.</p>
<p>Yeah, you're right, but it gives me the biggest frick'n headache. I have to keep track with pen and paper. It's a pain. </p>
<p>And with 100 or so doctoral universities, and around 80 non-doctoral colleges, I would hardly say that's "short." 30 seconds per school, and just one manual sort would take 1 hour and 30 minutes.</p>
<p>Someone should just sell an Excel file with all the info in it.</p>
