School Suggestions?

I'm in 10th grade, just found out that my family's going to be relocating, so applying to schools.

I have a 4.0 unweighted, taking an AP class this year, in honors classes, president of French Club, JV tennis and in youth symphony orchestra (I've played the flute for 4 years). I haven't taken the SSAT, but I've taken the PSAT and scored around 90 percentile.

I just found out I have to start applying to schools and most schools I looked at have a Jan 15 application deadline. Does it seem a little rushed? Or is it doable? The main problem though, is most of my teachers don't seem to like me much. I was pretty close to this one teacher last year, but she moved to another state. In some classes I don't pay much attention and talk to friends (math usually) but in others I don't talk at all. When winter break ends I'm going to try to improve on my relationships with teachers... but I still don't think I'll be able to get really great recommendations.

What would be a good school I could look into?

Thanks!

It`s tight but doable. Heres why: complete your part of the app and interview by the due date. Test scores and teacher recs can come later. I called an AO about one of my teachers recs getting lost in the mail. They told me that from Jan. 15 to end of Feb. the AO is still sorting all the files including FA apps. You might not have time to tour but you can do off campus interviews.

My advice is go onto boardingschoolreview.com, go to an advanced search, and look up the schools with a rolling deadline. From there, you can narrow the list of schools who offer what you want. You can still apply to schools with a Jan 15 deadline of course, but this way you may have a little more time with some schools.
