So I really like William and Mary because of the name value of the school and the liberal feel, nice people, and pretty campus. Also they have business and not too much social reliance on greek life. BUT im OOS female and don't want to pay private school price for a public college/facilities. First of all, are they generous on scholarships? Any suggestions for similar type schools? UNC-ch is a bit big for me, I've also looked at Elon and it was too homogeneous. Thank you!

What is your in-state school? It’s generally not worth paying OOS rates for colleges unless you can afford it.

UNC-ch, which is a good school, but I like the W&M atmosphere better. Cost wise, I’d be looking to get a scholarship from other places

UVA currently meets need for OOS students like UNC. W&M does not but I don’t know how much FA they might offer for OOS.

Hmm okay I’ll look into that, thank you! I talked to a rep today and she explained how competitive w&m is for OOS and they offer little financial aid so it’s pretty much a dropped option. But I’m going to keep searching!

You say Elon is too homogeneous. What are you looking for? What are your stats?

Boston College, Wake Forest, Colgate, Bowdoin, Middlebury
