School Suggestions?

I am looking in to both engineering (civil) and architecture, but I would like to know what schools you think I could get into for ENGINEERING. I will most likely finish high school with a 3.2-3.4 cumulative GPA. But I have a rigorous course load (might finish HS with 5-6 APs and 13-14 honors) and go to a school (2nd in the state) that offers engineering, but I haven't taken any engineering class because I just know thought of going into the field. Haven't taken the SAT or ACT yet, but I'm aiming for at least a 1900-2100 and at least a 32 IF I take the ACT.

So far on my list I have:

NYU Poly
Syracuse

I would love to get into Carnegie Mellon, but I doubt I will. Do you think I could get into the 2 schools above, and could you suggest schools that I should look into?

Thanks.

How far are you from Georgia Tech?

You should take a look at NC State in Raleigh. Might be a good match for you. Ga Tech is extremely competitive instate (avg. 4.0gpa) with the HOPE so I’m sure it would be really tough for you OOS.

Thanks!

@TomServo, Nashville isn’t that far from Atlanta

Penn state has engineering, arch engineering and architecture.
