Someone helped me before by suggesting a schoolI could look at, and I'm very impressed. But, I'm currently looking to keep my options open (I'm a freshman at tulane and hate it. absolutely hate it.) I want to trasnfer preferably somewhere in the northeast or around that area, that has a good music department (with voice) and may or may not be hard to get into. Prestige doesn't phase me anymore I don't care haha.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be so grateful to hear them. I'm just so lost and confused at this point in time. Also i'm looking to transfer out for the 2nd semester.

right next to princeton is westminster choir college. seriously, its down the street and within either the borough or township of princeton.. one of the two.

my sister goes there... its technically Westminster Choir College of Rider University but the two are VERY distant. From what she's said, they are trying to unite the two a lot more so keep that in mind or act fast before they could phase it out.

Why are you so unhappy at Tulane? I was pretty sure that I needed to transfer after 3 nights at my first college, but for most students, that's not enough time to begin to know what potential this school could hold for you.

i knew from the 3rd day on the i majorly ***ced up!!! I just dislike many aspects: the kids, the drinking, the absence of a powerful music major (they make you take core reqs...most music depts/schools don't,) no boys that are (um) not straight here, too expensive, i miss my friends so much, accounts receivable bills my dad for things i didn't buy ,many more reasons...it's hard!

What about Ohio University in Athens Ohio? Not as difficult to get into the music program as IU, and I hear it's pretty good. Nice size campus as well.
