School Supplies Lists?

So how do boarding schools do that? Like, when are we getting class book lists? Do they tell us we need 2 glue sticks, 4 notebooks, and a folder for each class, or what? Some stuff is obvious, in fact I think it all is, but do they ever tell us what to bring? Any items you guys are bringing that are good for organizing or last minute projects? Do tell.

Office supplies, no. They just say "get school supplies." You decide what you need. More tends to be better, at least in my experience. I was glad I bought the glue sticks and pencils when other kids ran out and had to go to CVS in 30 degree weather for posters.

Get lost of Notebooks, you will fill up at least 1&1/2 a term per subject
binders help with organization
Tons of pens as you will lose them/lend them/chew them and the bookstore pens cost about 2 dollars each

You may as well get more supplies, as opposed to less, because you can use them the next year if you have extra, but it's a pain buying them in the school year (and I hear boarding school bookstores are crazily overpriced).

I like having a binder for each separate class, too. And a notebook for each class, of course. Lots of glue sticks and tape, a ruler, compass, protractor, etc. Probably colored pencils or markers too.
