I'm currently a student at Rutgers newark and I want to transfer to New Brunswick for next fall. I know that there is a special procedure for it, called the school-to-school transfer, but I was talking to some of my roomates at newark today and they said that people usually lose many credits in transferring from newark to new brunswick campuses. To what extent is this true?? I was totally crushed after hearing this as I have been wanting to go to New Brunswick for a while.

I am pretty sure it is not true. I had a roomate last year who transfered from Rutgers Camden without a problem. Just be sure and talk to an advisor otherwise i think you will be alright.

My D is transfering mid term and she is not loosing any credits there is a link on the transfer page that you can print out that has distribution reqirements you can print it and take it to your advisor and they will help you figure all of this out. Also you can do like my D and take a trip to NB with form and have them sit down and tell you everything. Good luck.

You're not going to lose too many credits. Maybe one class at most. I transferred from RU Newark to New Brunswick and I didn't lose any credit. You have to use school to school transfer and make sure you have atleast a 3.0 gpa. Anything lower than a 3.0 you're not going to get in

has anyone else had experience with the school to school transfer? Is it guaranteed admission if you have good grades pretty much?
