School transcripts/ International

Good morning! My counselor has a question about school-transcripts. So, on my hand I have 4 pdf files, grades from 8-11. She told me that open only Final Report and she can add only four files. In that case, its Ok to download all transcripts and after colleges request send to counselor another stuff?

Thanks a lot!

Your counselor should try to find a way to send everything in the common app, if possible. Can you scan the transcripts again so they become one single file instead of separate files?

Em, no,one file its more than 500 kb ( I try to minimize format, but still around 300), each file represent 6 papers: 5 original with translation and notarization. so, I have 4 files, and she will download in all 4 Adding spaces in common application. Is it ok?

And here is another things, She told me that in Final Report, she found like section Current transcript and 3 additional. So, if she download in first one 11th grade, for another additional grades from 8-10, it might be ok?

Is there no full transcript that you can get from the Ministry of Education or what not? I know at my school they can print off a complete transcript as well as year by year.

No, thats why its a big problem. In my school we have only paper-based system, without electronic. So 4 files with translations.

Your plan for her to include one transcript for 11th and another file with 8-10 sounds perfect, if the file size is appropriate.

Yep, appropriate :), she just confused about where to download all of that. Thank you, now she will download 11 grade in current transcripts, and 8-10 in additional sections.

Saw this today on the Common Application Help Center and thought it might help you in reducing the size of the files you and your counselor are trying to upload. These directions come directly from the Common Application:

File too large to upload

If your file exceeds the limit of 500k, you can try to reduce the size of your file using the information at Adobe’s site: [How to reduce PDF file size using Acrobat 9](How to reduce PDF file size using Acrobat 9) .

You may also get help from your tech team to reduce the file size. Otherwise, you will need to submit the forms on paper.

itsv
Yep, thanks, but I use it before, still, reduced like 10-12kb :). She( counselor) will download 4 files and just put the name on them for better understanding

Thanks for everybody !
