<p>Many universities offer design and math. Sometime design is part of the art department and sometimes it’s a separate school within the university. Math is usually in the general liberal arts or arts & sciences school. When art&design are a separate school, you have look carefully at the rules. Some universities make it difficult to double major across two schools or even to take courses outside the school.</p>
<p>Design courses tend to be taught in longer time blocks and demand a lot of time in studio so you have to take that into consideration as well is you’re planning to follow two channels.</p>
<p>I’d look at University of Michigan and University of Cincinnati. If you have excellent credentials, the Brown/RISD joint program. Same for the interdisciplinary programs at Carnegie Mellon…</p>
