School with Rowing programs offering scholarships

I know how helpful this forum can be, so I wanted to ask if anyone could recommend schools for us to investigate, as well as any tips you may offer.

Our niece lives in Europe and would like to apply to college in the USA that has a rowing program. She is in HS and has quite an impressive resume with winning several European junior cups and also participating in the Junior World Cup for the last two years. She would need a scholarship and she would also need to attend a school where she could study English as she starts her college career.

Thank you for reading this.

My DD attended a rowing camp one summer. She is not interested in rowing in college, but ended up on some recruiting lists. Check out University of Wisconsin and University of Iowa for two options.

University of Southern California has a D-1 rowing program for women. You can check out the athletic site which has an overview of the rowing coaches, schedule and roster. The athletic website is: [University of Southern California Official Athletic Site](http://www.usctrojans.com) .

My best friend is getting a partial ride for rowing at Kansas University. She also looked at Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin. The Ivys have AMAZING programs too

Our two DD’s both rowed in high school - sadly they are hanging it up going to college. I’ve been to many regattas and at least in the Midwest the biggest programs appear to be Kansas State, Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Texas, Texas A & M (might be club only). Stanford, the Ivies, etc. have programs too that I’ve seen.
