We were specifically told that it was much harder to get scholarship money with just a CD. Full scholarships? They are very few and far between at top conservatories. If you want big money, you’d be best off looking at smaller, lower ranked LACs, or second/third tier publics with music programs, and even for these, you have to be among the very best auditioning (which can certainly vary).</p>
