Anyone know of any out of state schools within my reach (poli sci major, 3.45 gpa) that are still accepting applications for fall 2005? I am under review at ucla and so I don't wanna be unprepared if I end up getting rejected.

AU(american university) and EMORY(june 1st)?

Villanova University (not a state school) is june 1st as well

Does anyone know about ACC schools? mainly: Clemson, Miami, Maryland and NC State?

Here is a quote from the University of Miami website regarding transfer admissions:

"Applications should be submitted at least 60 days prior to the date you wish to enroll. Applications submitted by March 1 for fall semester and by November 15 for spring semester entrance are given priority consideration for both admission and scholarships."

NC State is done on a rolling basis from what I gathered:

"Applications are processed in the order they are received please allow 8-12 weeks for processing of your application. Transfer applicants with college courses in progress may be placed in a pending status until we receive final transcripts."

For Clemson University:

"Applications for the fall semester 2005 should be submitted by July 1, 2005"

For Maryland:

"Decisions will be released 46 weeks after a complete application has been received. Complete applications received after July 1st will be reviewed on a space available basis."

That is what I gathered from the transfer websites of the universities... For more information, just go to their prospective students/transfer websites. Good luck with UCLA, everything will work out for the best.

thanks eddie

The University of Notre Dame is accepting limited transfers.

ND yeah right.... I have no shot there. thanks though

why are u under review at LA?

because I dropped three classes with w's that were irrelevant to ucla admissions they only pertained to ucsb for which I was rejected

mex, i sure hope everything will work out for u.
