Can a school suspend a student for their actions over summer? If i did something over summer, can a school see that and suspended me for the first two days of school? How bad does a suspension as a senior look on an application? I forged signatures for a city college application. I know its bad, but how bad. I am prepared to take legal action if i must- would I have a case? Or is it not a big deal that wont effect me? Thanks

i’m not sure if actions over the summer can get you suspended but i wouldn’t worry too much.

the editor in chief of my newspaper back in high school was suspended for distributing alcohol to students. he was a senior and i think he gave some to his classmates & students in the grades under him.

and got into brown.

Thanks for the response. I’m just worried because the commonapp and USC both ask about suspension and I know forgery is a huge deal. It was a stupid mistake that wont leave me alone haha

help please

anyone else

it depends on the severity of the infraction, most likely; I don’t know if this would count. Why would you need to take legal action? What you did was wrong, and any court would agree.

As for colleges, they’ll probably want to know about it, but if your school doesn’t take action against you, you’re not obligated to mention it.

It is a big deal. Since you forged the information from your school they certainly can suspend you.
