Schools for Biology/Biomedical Studies?

I need some good ideas for Reaches, Matches, and Safeties for schools that are strong in Biology. I don't want to get too much into my stats, but I live in MD and my counselor says that Tufts is a match and Vandy is a safety (legacy)--this should give you some idea of where I stand. Additionally, I have a lot of research experience (800 hours working in labs) and a 2200 SAT.

Can you guys help me make a good list of Reaches/Matches/Safeties? My counselor said applying to 10 schools would be good.
So far, my list looks like this:

MIT (Sibling legacy)
University of Chicago
Haverford
University of Pennsylvania
Duke University
Brown University
University of Rochester
Bowdoin College
Northwestern University
Tufts University
Colby College
Vanderbilt (legacy)
Williams
Boston University
University of Virginia
College of William and Mary
Swarthmore
Amherst
Emory
Johns Hopkins University (Sibling legacy)
Washington University in St. Louis

I also forgot to mention that research is important to me. What schools do you recommend I remove, and are there any I should add? I plan to have 5-6 reaches, 2 matches, and 1-2 safeties.

Bump! Help me!

Hmmm...you got quite a list of top colleges that aren't too similar.

You have some smart family members as well.
I don't know if I'd consider Vandy a definite safety...but I'll admit I have no clue about that.

If it were me, I'd apply to:

Reaches:
JHU
MIT
Duke
Wash U
Brown

Matches:
Tufts
Vandy

Safeties:
UVA (? don't know if I'd call this a safety)
Rochester

I might substitute:
U Wisconsin
U North Carolina
U Maryland - CP (likely a true safety)

I don't know much about LACs...but imagine the ones you listed would be good too. Maybe you could list some more stats and what it is you're looking for in a college.

Thanks for the help, UCBChemEGrad. I think I'm only gonna apply to one safety and two matches, and then 7 reaches. I'll apply to a second safety in August--UMich--so that I know I'll be going to college somewhere.
