S13 has determined that he would like to major in Interactive Media. I'm not exactly sure what the difference between Interactive/New/Digital media are, but he would eventually like to do something creative for comic books or work someplace like Disney or Pixar. He has decided against CS and SE due to what he perceives as too great rigidity and more math than he would like. He's not quite sure about whether he would go into animation, interactive design, games, or sound design, so would love a school that offers all of the above.

Right now RIT is top on the list and WPI is on the list as well. He's scored a 30 on the ACT during the October testing. I think he can raise it up to a 32 and he should have about a 3.7 UW gpa.

So, if anyone has any other suggestions (no state schools, CMU, or RPI - they are not on my Tuition Exchange list) we would greatly appreciate hearing them.

Also, would anyone have any idea what would go into a portfolio in applying to such a program?

THANKS!!
