<p>I strongly support Rabban's list. At my school, the nano research is done by those departments, although each specializes in a different area. My school also has a nanoengineering program but I think it's overhyped. With a traditional engineering degree at least you have an alternative route if you decide not to go to grad school.</p>

<p>The problem is most don't have concentration on nano.</p>
<p>My advice is major in ChemE and concentrate in Materials. If a concentration is unavailable try to double major in Materials (which should have significant overlap with ChemE).</p>
