<p>SM has had relatively decent crew the past couple of years… I have a really good friend (she’s a girl though) who got recruited heavily by colleges for crew. I know some guys who are rowing in college as well… I don’t know who will replace the past head crew coach, but I’m sure someone good will. </p>
<p>I did crew for a year. It was fun… cult-ish, but definitely fun. I got funny tanlines from the uni haha</p>

<p>I would seriously consider Peddie. The Latin classes are handled by a father-son duo, Dr. and Mr. Martin, and from listening to their students talk about it, those classes are an experience you will never forget. Swiss cake rolls are included with every class 
Crew is awesome; they practice every other day on the Mercer County Lake with their own boats at the Finn Caspersen Boathouse; the other days are land workouts. Math courses are pretty extensive at Peddie, but you will probably end up taking Math theory with the other ridiculously smart kids at some point.</p>
<p>OK, you<code>re a brainy crew guy. Your reaches should be your matches. I would throw out Hotch and St. P cause they</code>re in the middle of cowland. Exeter, Choat, Andover , and Lville will offer enough advanced math/sci for you. You like the water, add Tabor. They prep Navel Academy cands.
Drop NMH, Taft, Kent, St M, Loomis, Milton, Blair and Brooks.</p>

<p>@bamagirl : This is just a preliminary list. I am going to cut out some and then do some interviews this summer to dwindle it down. I am thinking of taking out Andover, Tabor and then the NJ schools because my parents don’t want me to apply to schools so far away. </p>
<p>@hadeswisher : I would add deerfield but I don’t really want another sub 20% acceptance rate school. And I don’t really like deerfield.</p>

<p>I am so frustrated right now. For the past hour I have been contemplating taking schools off my list and everytime I try, I feel like I am throwing away an opportunity. Why is it so hard to eliminate a school from my list? SGHIBFGODSFRDSGFBVSDSFRDZHFHGIHF Any advice on taking schools on my list. How do I do this objectively with out second guessing myself?</p>

<p>I don<code>t want to be a Debbie downer but be cautious about Kent. The town supplies drugs to to schools near by. It</code>s been a problem the past few yrs. The schools sports programs are excellent. A few guys went to NHL straight from the school. But…beware there is another side. The academics are lower than one might think.</p>
<p>Mostly I was factoring in the you getting in part of the equation and Tabor they say the campus is bleh [im articulate ;)] HK- explainable. Milton and Brooks- :/</p>
<p>Rad, have you ever seen Tabor? I went there last week. It moved up my list as a school to apply to. The view book is blah but the smell of salt water, sound of waves and cape cod style buildings are pretty nice actually.</p>

<p>2010 hopeful, try Kiski in Saltzburg, PA. My cousin went their and its a nice environment, different from all of the “HADES” schools. They don’t offer crew though, but the kids are awesome and the teachers have the cutest children.</p>
