<p>As I posted several pages ago, Brown is oversubscribed by 60 or 70 students; even with gap year applicants and summer melt they won’t have room. The wait-list has been closed and all applicants should be receiving a letter within the next few days. A small handful of well-connected students may have been offered the z-list option (take a gap year and get acceptance next school year), but if you’re looking on CC for your info, you are obviously not one of those who are well-connected!</p>

<p>UVa said their first year class if full, but they are still pulling some transfers off their wait list.</p>
