Hey guys, I'm a junior so I won't be applying to schools till after the summer but I figured it'd be nice to know about some options that I can look into internationally. As the title suggests, I was wondering about some schools in the UK, particularly ones that have strong international business or poli. sci. (specifically international relations) programs. To put things in perspective, I'll be looking into schools like McGill, Northeastern, American, with Georgetown probably being a bit of a reach.

One name I've heard of quite a bit is St. Andrews, and I may look into it, but I feel like that may have too much of a small town feel to it. The ones I mentioned above all have a campus feel accompanied by the amenities of the night life, sports, culture, etc. of a city. So basically are there any schools similar to the things I've mentioned in the UK? Thanks

For your interests I would highly recommend the London School of Economics, the University of Warwick, King’s College London, University College London, and, if you’ve got the time and money for the intensive interview process, either Oxford or Cambridge (you can only apply to one). Each of these will have the requirement of three APs, typically three fives (Oxbridge) or two fives and a four (some others) as well as a cutoff SAT score (1950 for UCL, for example, and 2100 for Oxford), all of which constitute your ‘academic profile.’ St. Andrews are the only ones that will look at your transcript.

I applied to five UK universities this past year, so I know quite a lot about the process. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
