I have colleges bug me about applying to their school. Telling me they’ll give me advantages in the admissions process and theat their impressed with my records.Does that mean if I apply I’ll get in? Or are they saying that so I can apply?
Much is propaganda to get you to apply. If they waive their application and you are interested, then I would apply if you will consider attending. Both son’s got free applications to several schools, picked to 2 to apply to that they would be willing to attend and used them as safeties.

It is no different from those time sharing ads or limited time special offer your found in your mail box. It does not guarantee you anything and they just want you to apply. Many schools purchase the mailing list from test agents by region or performance level. They don’t even know your exact score.
