<p>they can always check and compare lists. it might not be likely, but you really don't want to risk it.</p>
<p>Two main ways:</p>
<p>Previous FAFSA's have the previous colleges.</p>
<p>Theres a National Student Clearinghouse for loans and enrollmen verification that has all your prior colleges by SS#. Easy to cross check.</p>
<p>My neighbor go kicked out of U Tex his Jr. year because he'd done a year at another college, had like a 1.0 and didn't declare it on his UT app. Somehow they found out.</p>
<p>yeah they do. don't lie on your application. Often even a simple google search can turn up evidence of your enrollment somewhere else.</p>
